I ve Blackberry 8100 and I m using BSNL prepaid network
but i am not able to enjoy the GPRS service through it.
Kindly help on this topic, it will be great help.

You will have to activate GPRS on your phone before using it.Call the CC to activate GPRS.
For browsing net on phone use the wap settings
To use internet on PC use the GPRS settings

i have SE K550i.
i did the settings as given above, but still am not able to access the net. For accessing the internet, which profile has to be used?? the gprs one??

You will need a wap enabled phone to use the WAP use internet on phone.A phone with builtin modem is required if you want to use your phone to connect to internet.
BSNLEWAP probably stands for BSNL WAP FOR EAST ZONE

I have a basic doubt. Does a phone have to have a modem for WAP ? Also whats difference between bsnl-wap and BSNLEWAP ?
